Thank you everyone for nominating and voting for local organizations for BAAAZK to support this year!
The conservation organization that received the most votes is the…Â Mountain Lion Foundation! Â This Sacramento-based non-profit works hard across the country to pass important legislation to protect mountain lions. Â Our financial support for 2014 will help them continue working with politicians and educate the public on this beautiful species.
Membership dues and money raised through BAAAZK events allow us to provide financial support to the organizations that share our mission.  Thank you all for your support in conserving wildlife with us.
Also, please save the next BAAAZK workshop date if you haven’t yet: AAZK Online Workshop at Oakland Zoo May 20th, 6pm in Classroom I. Â Details to follow soon.
